We are Donald and Susan Bagwell and our Daughter, Angela Wadsworth.
Donald was born and raised in West Texas in and around Lubbock. Donald graduated from Coronado High School where he played football and was well liked by his classmates. He then joined the United States Military in the Army where he served for 8 years. After leaving the military he attended Texas Tech University and studied Engineering. He accepted a position as an over the road truck driver for the next 26 years. He won an award for driving over 2,000,000 miles without an accident. Upon contracting diabetes he left truck driving to accept a position with the United States Government, Department of Defense. His position was Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Journeyman. During his 10 years with the Department of Defense he served our country in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. He received numerous awards for troubleshooting and problem solving around the world and is well received and loved by all.
Susan Bagwell was born and raised in the Sandhill region of North Carolina where she graduated from Union Pines High School. She attended Sandhills Community College and studied Nursing and Surgical Technology. She put herself through college by working for the Moore County Sheriff Department as a telecommunicator. She also studied Florist and worked as a Florist for 6 years. Wanting something more meaningful she accepted a position with the Southern Pines Elementary School as an assistant to the teacher in the Autistic classroom and school bus driver. It was here that her love of handicapped abused children developed.
Angela Wadsworth is our Daughter and the mother of our lovely granddaughters, Heather and Maygen. Angela graduated from Calvary Christian School in Southern Pines, NC then attended Sandhills Community College where she studied general education and bookkeeping. Angela is the Treasurer of the Non Profit and does a wonderful job.
